Diagnostic work of Grundfos S submersible pumps of frame sizes 70 and 72

We carried out diagnostic work on Grundfos S submersible pumps of standard sizes 70 and 72.

Grundfos S pumps are the backbone of many sewage systems. They are chosen for their strength, durability, and innovative features such as the SmartTrim impeller gap adjustment system and the Smart Seal leakage prevention system.

The SmartTrim system used on S pumps makes it easy to adjust the factory-set impeller clearance and thus keep pump efficiency at maximum.

The SmartSeal auto-coupler seal provides a fully sealed connection between the pump and the base of the auto-coupler system. The mechanical seal can rotate in any direction. When installing pumps with separate piping, sludge build-up can be avoided by backwashing the system at regular intervals.
